Typical failure symptoms :-
No output despite input from alternator.

On Castel Garden machines(also badged Twin Cut, John Deere, Mountfield, Club Garden and others), audible beeper sounds and machine cuts out when temperature is reached. Progressively happens after shorter periods/more frequently.
