Description

This series of engines are usually to be found on walk behind rotary lawnmowers.

They have the revolutionary DOV (Direct Overhead Valve) configuration with the spark plug set centrally above the
rocker cover which has the letters DOV stamped into it

The plastic fuel tank is mounted on the rear of the engine.

Some have a primer for cold starting mounted on the front of the air filter base, some
    have ready start (automatic choke controlled by means of a thermostat mounted behind the exhaust.

The Model, Type and Code numbers are stamped into a pressed steel plate over the exhaust and
    the Model number will begin 09 or 10 with the 4th digit either a 6 or 8
